Free Intro to Hand in Hand Parenting for Therapists and Teachers
Wednesday, May 19, 10:30am-1:00pm
Are you a Therapist or Teacher who Wants to Learn More about the Hand in Hand Parenting Tools?
Curious about how to use these tools with your clients (or your own children?) but not ready to sign up for the 8-week Professionals Intensive beginning June 2?
This 2.5 hour live online training for therapists will introduce you to 3 of the 5 Hand in Hand Parenting Tools and the brain science behind how they work.
Participants will learn the neurobiology of big emotions in children and a framework to understand how difficult behavior in children is driven by the brain’s limbic system. This training will teach clinicians and teachers 3 specific attachment-based, trauma-informed, and playful strategies to use with children that can be taught to parents and caregivers for supporting their psychological and emotional wellbeing.
See the video below to hear from other therapists, doctors and teachers who also incorporate Hand in Hand with their work with families. This video provides real life examples of how building an authentic connection through deep listening with a child as well as other parents, laughing through play, and making healthy boundaries through limit setting are all key components to creating positive outcomes for children facing trauma in our world today.
